Suzanne Shelden
Suzanne Shelden lives in Southern Maryland. She has worked in the art
and graphic design field for 30 years and has been painting in acrylics
since 1973. She works chiefly in acrylic, but also explores other
various media, including pencil, watercolor, collage (acrylic),
photography, intaglio (etchings and collagraphs), computer generated
art, and mixed media.
Her latest work focuses on the landscapes that can be seen from the
highway, Route 4. Other series include A Gala for Cat Lovers, A North
Beach Thing, The Heart of the Trail (or Why People Go Hiking), Raining
Cats and Dogs, Ancient Roads Magnificent Trees, The Glen Dale Azaleas,
The Wedding Present, and more.
