Ellen Robinson
A ceramic artist, and a retired art teacher from AA County Public Schools,
has become a well-known artist in Annapolis, Southern Md. and the Eastern Shores.
She has exhibited her works in numerous juried shows (Sun Fest, Havre de Grace Arts Festival,
Unique Boutique, Spring Fest, Oyster Festival, Bay Festival, MD. Seafood Festival, and many more)
and has won multiple cash and ribbon awards. Her works are in many private collections.
She is known for her functional pottery as well as her new “textural crab dishes.”
Ellen’s new works are rich in color, dynamic and very useful.
They can be functional as well as accent pieces.
“Being a ceramic artist is a way of life for me.
I feel very fortunate to be able to express myself through my art.
Pottery makes a home warm and homey,” says Ellen.
“I finally get a chance to create my own works and use what I’ve taught students for 36 years.”
